the middle circle of the painting is covered with resin and therefore really shiny. Some fotos are taken with a flashlight to make the resin cover visible.
"Namaste" is a traditional greeting in Hinduism, Buddhism, and other Indian spiritual practices, and it is commonly used in both religious and secular contexts. The word comes from Sanskrit and is a combination of two parts:
- "Nama" (नम) means "bow," "salutation," or "obeisance."
- "Te" (ते) means "to you."
When combined, "Namaste" roughly translates to "I bow to you" or "I honor the divine within you."
In a deeper, spiritual context, "Namaste" is a gesture of respect, humility, and recognition of the divine or sacred presence in the other person. It acknowledges that there is a divine essence in everyone, and that we are all interconnected. The phrase can be seen as a way of honoring the person in front of you as a reflection of the same universal energy or consciousness that resides within you.
